I first started seeing Leigh and the team back in 2016 when we were starting our IVF treatment for our first child. The acupuncture treatments put me in such a calm relaxed state in order to handle all the tribulations that come with IVF. I had success with the first transfer and fell pregnant with our baby boy.

Fast forward to the end of 2018 and we were ready to try for our second child. This time around I did not see Leigh for acupuncture leading up to the transfer. Unfortunately this pregnancy ended in a devastating, traumatic missed miscarriage. We weren't sure we would try again as that was our last embryo. After a 12 month break we decided to try again with another new cycle. Unfortunately once again this next transfer ended in another miscarriage. I was beyond devastated, ready to give up and was pretty sure I would never carry a baby again. Before we decided to try one last time I knew I needed to work on myself and get my headspace right.  At the end on 2019 I decided to book in with Leigh and the team again. We did acupuncture and hypnotherapy sessions which helped me heal and gave me all the confidence and calmness I needed going into this next transfer. Not sure what magic they spun but not long after transfer I just felt in my gut that this was the baby I would take home, I knew it was a little girl and her name kept coming to me in my head. In November 2020 our very healthy 11 pound baby girl Claire arrived into the world. I don't think it's any coincidence that my only 2 successful pregnancies came about after working with Leigh and the team. I am beyond grateful for Leigh and the team at Spring Acupuncture for helping me bring my two beautiful miracles into the world and I would recommend them to anyone embarking on their infertility journey.

"We had some challenges with getting pregnant, so I was advised to compliment my diet and exercise plan with some acupuncture which I had never done before. I am also not a fan of needles and was pretty nervous at the first session. We welcomed our daughter 2 weeks ago now - and I would absolutely involve the same type of sessions into any future pregnancy planning. There's a lot of acupuncture clinics out there - but if the main objective is about fertility, Leigh's experience and knowledge about fertility when it comes to acupuncture cannot be beaten."
